Regular "Share" Savings Account– This is the most basic savings plan, and it entitles members to apply for all of our other great services. These funds are available to members anytime and pay generous dividends. The share account serves as a great place to store money for all savings needs.

Special Purpose Savings – Members may choose to open a special purpose savings account under their primary membership. You may open special purpose accounts for any reason, such as vacation, taxes, etc.

Christmas Club – What a great opportunity to save up for the holidays! Members may open a Christmas Club anytime under their primary account. Funds are placed in your primary savings account on October 1st.

High Yield Money Market – A GR Consumers Credit Union High Yield Money Market account offers members a greater investment return. Members start this account with a minimum balance of $1000. The dividend rate may change from month to month. Some restrictions do apply to this account. View current rates.

Certificate of Deposit – Certificates of Deposit are high yielding, no risk investments that allow a member to secure a fixed rate of return for an extended period of time. Members can choose from a certificate with a minimum as low as $200 and a term as short as six months, or as long as four years. View current rates.

IRA Accounts – Want to retire in style? Want to save up for your child's education? We can help! At GR Consumers Credit Union we offer Traditional IRA's, Roth IRA's, and Coverdell Education Savings Accounts. These accounts earn a higher rate of interest than regular savings accounts and some even offer a great tax deduction benefit. The deposit insurance limit for IRA's is $250,000. This coverage is separate from insurance on other credit union accounts. Insurance coverage for other share and deposit accounts is $250,000. View current rates.
